Spring is here, but not everything blooming is safe for your pup!

Some spring plants and lawn chemicals can be toxic to dogs. Keep an eye out during walks and playtime to keep your furry friend safe! 

Common Toxic Spring Plants

Lily
→ Can cause vomiting, kidney failure  

Daffodil  
→ May cause drooling, upset stomach  

Azalea
→ Toxic, can lead to weakness or coma  

Tulip
→ May irritate the mouth and cause drooling

 

How to Keep Your Dog Safe

🌱 Avoid unknown spring plants during walks  
🌱 Skip freshly treated lawns with chemicals  
🌱 Wipe your dog’s paws after outdoor play  
🌱 Watch for vomiting, drooling, or lethargy  
🌱 Call your vet if your dog shows any symptoms
