Hand Braided Leash

Let’s be honest: I ordered this 6ft jade-green Fei and Eve hand-braided SP cotton dog leash because it’s aesthetically pleasing & at time of receipt it was $12.99, which is a steal.Satisfactions: The quality feels nice. I prefer round (rather than flat) leashes, which this lives up to. The braided hand grip is comfortable to hold & big enough to slip my hand through when I need it around my wrist. It’s very smoothly flexible & easy to pack. Relatively light weight. The diameter is good enough for my 70lb Gerberian Shepsky with a small, comfortable amount of stretch (he’s not a relentless puller though, so we’re not the best tester for leash durability & control). The black metal clip looks sleek against the light colored leash & swivels 360° to eliminate leash twisting.Disappointments: In-person, the color is a bit dingy; it’s a very light, dusty, tiffany blue. It’s also more of a cotton-like feel, rather than nylon, so it holds onto oils, moisture, & dirt, & is quicker to absorb stain. It’s such a light color that it won’t hide the least bit of dirt. It’s not easy to clean a leash by hand & I’m afraid to put it in the washing machine for fear that the metal clip will wreck my basin.I won’t use this leash for daily handling, it attracts grime way too easily. It’ll be nice for special occasions (outdoor patio happy hours, photographing, visiting friends & family) when he’s meant to stay clean & look nice.Overall, the value for the price ($12.99) is unbeatable. If you’re looking for a daily handling leash, I would not recommend. This is a really nice, heavy-duty rope-style leash. The rope quality is heavy-weight, the braiding and wrapped details are a nice touch, the color is lovely (at the time I ordered it, it was called "glacier green" but that has not been changed to "jade green"--either description works, I think) and the metal clasps is nice and sturdy.What I like most about this leash is the 6-foot length. Most of the leashes we have are only 5-feet long and the extra foot of distance is nice to have, though it is still short enough to keep my dog under control.This is a beautiful and quality leash.

Right out of the package I was super impressed with this leash.The color is an absolutely gorgeous sea foam color and the qualities is absolutely incredible. The material is top notch in the braiding is meticulous ~ it’s perfectly done with no loose threads and it’s very secure. The hook is metal, is easy to attach and I have no fear that it’s going to break off. This leash is incredibly durable and I’m positive. It will last for a very, very long time. The leash is about 6 ft Long, which is perfect for short walks with my dog, so she can explore while I still remain close and in control. I only use this leash on beautiful days, though, as I don’t want to get dirty, and I’m so very impressed. I just ordered the matching collar. Buy this!!! It’s an incredible value for the money, it’s beautiful and it will absolutely last a long time.

Fantastic quality leashThis one is nice, very nice... looks very high quality , feels high quality and it IS high quality.The handle is nice and comfortable the way it's braided without too tight of knotting , the leash itself is on nice thick solid cotton rooe with durable nylon wrapped outer jacket to keep it from soaking up dirt and liquids.The length is absolutely perfect and being a rope material if you ever wanted to shorten it or add an up close to collar handle a basic loop and knot will get you there.There's a tiny bit of stretch to this which is great for you pullers, it makes it easy on their neck and also less jarring on your shoulder , ebow and wrist.The quick connect clip is VERY robust built, easy on just snap it against the collar or harness jump ring and off you go, to remove just push in the tab and slip it ffOverall it looks high quality, made high quality, feels high quality and best of all it's priced far below thier competitors like Roam

The Fei & Eve hand braided leash is very attractive in a sea foam green color. It's very long, close to 6 feet I believe. The braided handle gives a great esthetic touch, elevating the look of the leash. It is durable, sturdy, and does not stretch out; making it a good quality. The downside is that the braid being on the handle is not padded and if you have a dog that pulls it would hurt your hand over time.

This leash is very well made. It is stronger and better made than I expected. The snap, clip, is also strong and well made. It isn't flimsy or weak. The design of this leash looks attractive and works well. The braided handle is comfortable despite it being rope. The rope is comfortable against your skin when on your wrist. The wrapped ends hold tightly and securely so I didn't worry about it coming apart. The color looks great, too!

The gray color is a light blue gray and is beautifully finished and soft to the touch. It doesn't look like something to restrain a K9 corp ruffian! Much more refined. When you want to show off your pooch, this is the leash you'll use.The connector is simple to use. No fumbling while trying to connect or disconnect.

A very nice leash that's 4 feet long as advertised. The fabric is soft, and gives just a little but seems as though it will be pretty durable. The clasp is metal and is easily opened and closed. It's pretty and unusual. I'm glad I got it and I recommend it.

I have a 70lb husky who doesn't necessarily behave on walks. He really needs a substantial leash on his harness to walk him safely and keep him close and safe. This leash is thick and has a strong, quality hook. The loop is braided and bound back to the loop in an attractive fashion, and the ends of the ropes have plastic caps glued on to keep them from fraying. The leash is 3 feet long to keep your pal close, but a 6-foot version is available.Ease of Use: Comes fully assembled - just hook to your dog's harness or collar and go!Quality of Assembly & Materials: The braided rope is very strong, and the twine wraps holding the loops together seem really sturdy. The rope itself didn't feel as soft as it looked in the pictures, but it's a quality material.Value for Price: The price feels a little steep, but it can be hard to find such a substantial leash, and everything made for big dogs seems expensive. Great leash, especially for a harder to control dog. We have a very strong, very stubborn 100lb 1yr old American Bulldog. Any time we go outside, it is constant pulling and tugging to get him back in, or to get him to do anything. The leash we have been using, the handle loop is only held on by 1 strip of glue. So far it has been good, but I'm dreading the day that it breaks and he gets away. I ordered this leash as a secondary since we have 2 dogs. I didn't expect it to be so well made! The rope is thick and good quality. The hand loop has a braided rope on top of the base rope, which gives a lot of extra grip and less rope burns than our other least. I also really like that where the hand loop is glued to the main cable, it is reinforced with an additional piece of material that wraps the whole length of the glue. I have many less concern about the loop coming detached, it's held together really well! The clasp goes on the harness hook easily, but getting it off is not as quick. I much prefer the clasp type with the thumb lever than the push down hook, but that's a personal preference and doesn't take away from the quality of the leash.
