Classic Collar

My main man and full-time Crewdog, Barque, is getting up in years - in fact, he's over 13 now. (13 human years...!) Last year during the heat of the summer, I noticed he was getting a bald patch under his chin, right where his collar buckle was usually located. Thinking it was from the seasonal heat, I treated the area with skin meds and lotions, but then, even when the weather cooled during the winter, it didn't go away.That's when I realized his collar was likely contributing, if not the cause of, the hair loss. I was able to get by most of the winter without him wearing the collar, but when spring came with leash-using weather knew I needed a different solution for him.Luckily, I found this collar by . I'd never seen the brand before, but am glad now that I chose it!"Fur safe" is right! The nylon part of the collar itself is very soft and supple, especially compared to the stiff, thick banding I am used to seeing used. It is plenty thick and strong, no worries there, but has been produced in a manner which makes it much more soft and comfortable to the touch.The buckle, easy to both attach and detach, is hefty and will not be any kind of weak point, while being shaped in such a manner that it also has no sharp edges. Instead, it is nicely curved all over and has nothing to catch on fur, skin, or any of the other stuff my boydog manages to poke his curious head into. :)The Dusk Blue color is nice and subtle, and at size Medium, a perfect fit on this ~45-50 lb buddy of mine.There may be other, cheaper collars out there, but trust me, you will get what you pay for, and this collar by is worth every penny and then some. Barque is actually happy when he sees me getting it ready to put on him. The fur on his neck is growing back now, and I couldn't be happier about that. As for Barque, well you can see he rests easy with the collar on :)

I like this collar and the color is unique. The collar is very strong and the buckle is metal and very secure. If you have a strong dog, this collar is ideal. I like even better the Faye and Eve leashes. They match perfectly and are built to last.

This collar is really, really nice. The blue color is more of a blue grey, but it's pretty and the embossed details of the brand name give it a fashion look.I like the metal connection points and D-ring. It's wide enough to fit comfortably on my dog's neck without restricting her. The collar material itself feels soft to the touch, without feeling flimsy or like it will fray. It's easily adjustable.The only thing I could say that is slightly negative is that due to the silky feel of the material, it does loosen up quicker than other collars I've had. Hopefully as it wears in a little, this will improve.Overall, I'm super happy with this collar, along with everything I have gotten from .

We don't use our dog's collar for her leash, but it would be nice if we could when we just need a leash quickly for a minute instead of having to put a harness on her (like when just going to the car until we feel secure in her training). This has just one D ring, which we use for her ID tags. While we can use it for the leash, it is not as nice as having a ring for the ID tags and one for the leash. Also, the D ring is so thick (maybe it is meant for the leash) that is hard to get the ID tags on it. I broke two nails. That said, it is a nice, thick collar. The material feels nice and of good quality, and the color is really pretty. The clasp is good and seems solid so far. I like it as a collar, particularly if you aren't using it with a leash.

This dog collar is as advertised ,Very nice quality and very easy to adjust to fit your animal.The clip to secure the collar is very strong metal and clips together and releases very smoothly .The light blue color is shinny .
